Homicide Unit detectives are working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who fatally shot a victim in Suitland on Monday. The victim is 30-year-old Marceese Norman of District Heights. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.
On March 29, 2021, at approximately 7:30 pm, officers responded to the 2300 block of Whitehall Street. The victim was located inside of a car suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators are working to determine a motive and identify the suspect(s).
