The Homicide Unit is investigating the circumstances of a fatal shooting in Clinton this morning. The victim is 41-year-old Enemias Barrera Grijalva of Fort Washington.
On July 16, 2021, at approximately 4:40 am, first responders were called to the 11500 block of Tippett Road for the report of a crash involving a single minivan. When they arrived, it was discovered the driver, Barrera Grijalva, was suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital where he died a short time later.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).
